Nicolas Henry is a photographic and plastic artist, producer and director who trained at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris. His style flourishes on the border between portraiture, theatre and installation, through works that locate his subjects in oneiric universes built by entire communities. In parallel with a career in scenography and lighting design, he travelled the world as the film director on 6 Billion Others, the portraits-of-humanity project by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Curious about others, Henry defines himself as a storyteller, adopting the maxim of Théodore Monod: “I am the bonds that I establish”. His work, which takes the viewer with him on his travels, has been seen all over the world.
