For the first time, ART X Lagos will be anchored by an online exhibition of 200 artworks from leading galleries across Africa and the Diaspora, who are all united in their commitment to champion African creative expression

Featuring collectors under the age of 50, this conversation explores the word ‘black’, and many of the inherent connotations, with respect to the visual art sector -- its artists, its patrons, and the nature of visual art itself. The discussion also highlights artists whom these collectors find to be most exciting today, the reasons why they began to and continue to collect art, and secrets of their collecting and/or research tactics during the pandemic. In addition, the conversation includes their personal experiences within the visual art sector and thoughts for people who wish to begin collecting.
