Synopsis
Part time-travel-odyssey, part fashion-fable. Bravo, Burkina! is a lavishly sketched coming-of-age tale about a Burkinabé boy who flees his village and migrates to Italy. Later, when disillusioned by heartbreak and haunted by memories of home, he travels through time in hopes of regaining all he has lost. This transatlantic tale refuses to leave behind the beauty and poetics of African life while bearing the weight of rupture and loss.
