Synopsis
Propelled by the vibrations of the Black radical imagination, iwoyi is an interstellar object moving through space and time, towards the event horizon. Grounded in the traditions of ritual, the film considers the processes of listening, refusal and the transformative power of collaboration. Untethered from the violent logics of colonialism, imperialism, and capitalism, liberation is visible. We are invited to push beyond the limits of this world towards freedom.
