Synopsis
Rokhaya, a young director, returns to her homeland in Senegal to make a film about a local historical figure. Throughout her research, consisting of interviews with local personalities, auditions with aspiring actors and fictional scenes shot on location, we discover the story of anti-colonial heroine Aline Sitoe Diatta.
