Ken Nwadiogbu

Ken Nwadiogbu is an artist and illustrator whose charcoal and pencil drawings and collages bring ideas and emotions to life in hyperrealist fashion and explore human consciousness, socio-political structures, mental health issues, gender equality, African culture and Black Power.

Nwadiogbu’s career as an artist began with no formal training while studying for a BSc in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He remains completely self-taught, and since graduation has taken part in several group shows in and beyond Nigeria, including Empowerment, Black & White Building, London, UK (2018); Generation Y, Exhibition Pavilion, Abuja, Nigeria (2018); Moniker Art Fair, Brooklyn, New York, USA (2018); It’s Not Furniture, Omenka Gallery, Lagos, Nigeria (2017); and Finding Your Identity, British Council, Abuja, Nigeria (2017).
