Established in early 2013 in Fort-de-France (Martinique), espace d’art contemporain 14N 61W presents a selection of artists focusing on contemporary art in the Caribbean, its diaspora, and around the world. The gallery supports the intensity and diversity of art-making in the Caribbean region, as well as contributing to its regional and international diffusion.

espace d’art contemporain 14N 61W has presented the works of established and emerging Caribbean artists of African descent, such as Jean-Ulrick Désert, Sébastien Méhal, Robert Charlotte, Norville Guirouard-Aizée, Yoan Sorin, Jérémie Priam, Arthur Francietta, and Nicolas Derné.

The gallery is committed to offering a renewed perspective of the geographical and historical context of the Caribbean while promoting contemporary visual practices related to the region.
