Kanbi Projects is a London-based curatorial platform and contemporary art gallery with a focus on Black emerging and established artists on the African continent and its global diaspora. Founded in 2017 by Adeola Arthur Ayoola, Kanbi Projects adopts a collaborative ethos through its unique nomadic exhibition program. Together with the cohort of artists and other partners it collaborates with, it presents an innovative and socially relevant exhibition program - both physical and online. Through its exhibition projects, art fair participation, publications and events, Kanbi Projects seeks to reframe the narrative on the Black experience and aesthetic notion while igniting curiosity in a global audience.
