Louisimone Guirandou Gallery

Abidjan, Côte D'ivoire

FAIR BOOTH

Art historian Simone Guirandou-N'Diaye founded the gallery Arts Pluriels in 1991, one of the first galleries of traditional and contemporary African art in the Ivory Coast. With the diversity of national and international artists it showcased and its founder’s passion and warmth, the gallery has asserted itself over the years, as a cultural destination in Abidjan.

Following on from this establishment, Simone Guirandou-N'Diaye and her daughter Gazelle inaugurated a new space - LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery on December 10, 2015. Through an avant-garde and eclectic program of exhibitions by both emerging and established Ivorian and international artists, it continues to prove itself as a leading gallery in the Ivory Coast and a critical reference in the African cultural landscape.

For LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery, it is about offering each time a rare opportunity to interact with a new artistic expression, to meet new sensibilities, but also to benefit from the gaze and the different perspectives of a cosmopolitan public.
