1952 Africa Presents "The Dreams that Freed Us." This exhibition showcases works created during the 2023 edition of the 1952 Africa Arts Accelerator. The artists grappled with personal and communal dreams, and their works serve as a guidepost for envisioning a life and a nation that is truly free.
Inspired by the limitations and experiences that create discomfort, scarcity and self-doubt, the artists discuss what freedom is to them and to us as a people.
