NUBUKE FOUNDATION

Nubuke Foundation is a contemporary art and cultural institution based in East Legon, Accra, and Wa, Ghana. Founded in 2006, the Foundation serves as a nexus for the preservation, recording, and promotion of contemporary arts and culture through art exhibitions, book readings, art talks, film screenings, performances, seminars, and workshops. The Foundation houses a new bespoke multi-faceted art gallery, commercial art and gift shop, a co-working space, an artist residency, a studio space, and a library. In addition, Nubuke Foundation runs the Young Ghanaian Artist programme which aims to develop the artistic practices of emerging and established contemporary artists from Ghana.
